PSG are inviting students with strong academic records to apply for funding with their bursary programme, for the 2024 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded to students who want to further their career in the financial services industry, and are pursuing degree qualifications (in final year/ Honours/ Masters), in these fields:

MORE ABOUT THE PSG BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUE

The bursary will provide coverage of the following expenses: tuition fees, prescribed textbooks etc. Apart from the financial support, students will also receive the following:

  • Mentoring, coaching and support
  • Entrance into the PSG graduate programme
  • Working experience within the financial services industry

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PSG BURSARY

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying towards a postgraduate degree qualification within one of the aforementioned fields of study (or in final year of Engineering undergraduate degree)
  • You must have achieved a good academic average
  • You must be interested in pursuing a career in the financial services sector
  • You must be ambitious
  • You must be able to work well under pressure
  • You must be resilient
  • You must be energetic
  • You must be solution oriented
  • You must be able to work well in a team
  • You must pay close attention to detail
