ABOUT THE AFRIMAT BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & SELECTION
Afrimat is inviting students from the Midvaal area, to apply for bursary funding for the 2024 academic year.
Afrimat Glen Douglas Dolomite will be awarding bursary funding for students pursuing studies within these fields (National Diploma/ BEng/ BSc Degree):
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AFRIMAT BURSARY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must reside within the Midvaal area (Gauteng)
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying towards a Mechanical Engineering or Mining Engineering undergraduate qualification
- You must have completed your first year of study (with no outstanding modules
- You must be in your second year of study in 2024
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
