Mampeule Foundation Bursary South Africa 2024

The Mampeule Foundation is one of South Africa’s top non-profit organisations, which provides support for initiatives in Property Education, Global Health, local Community Development, as well as Bursaries for tertiary education.

The Foundation was formed by Rali Mampeule – one of the top Real Estate entrepreneurs in the country.

Since the bursary programme was initiated in 2016, it has supported 32 students in pursuing their tertiary studies and in 2021, the foundation awarded bursaries to 12 students.

ABOUT THE MAMPEULE FOUNDATION BURSARY PROGRAMME

The Mampeule Foundation is inviting students to apply for bursary funding, for the 2024 academic year.

Bursaries are available for ALL fields of study (diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate studies), for studies at private colleges, universities and accredited tertiary institutions across South Africa.

MORE ABOUT THE MAMPEULE FOUNDATION BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUE & SELECTION

The bursary will provide cover for the cost of tuition fees only – it does not cover any other expenses (registration fees, accommodation, transport, meals, etc). This allows for the Mampeule Foundation to fund more students each year.

All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be contacted on 15 February 2024 (via email or WhatsApp). Candidates who do not receive any feedback by this date should regard their application as unsuccessful.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MAMPEULE FOUNDATION BURSARY

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be studying or intend on studying in 2024
  • You must be registered and accepted to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution within South Africa (private college, university or other accredited tertiary institution)
  • Preference will be given to South African citizens, however students of other nationalities may also apply

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE MAMPEULE FOUNDATION BURSARY

Note: no paper applications are available.

Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation (this is not a full and comprehensive list – other documents may also be required):

  • ID document or passport (certified copy)
  • Most recent academic record: Matric certificate, Matric final results or tertiary academic record (certified copy)
  • Proof of acceptance to study in 2024 (on institutions letterhead)
