Ngqura Brick (Pty) Ltd trading as Algoa Brick, are a manufacturer and supplier of quality clay brick products to Nelson Mandela Bay and the Eastern Cape province for over 65 years.
Algoa Brick has a wide variety of clay bricks with various shapes, natural hues, and surface textures, for use in the residential and commercial construction sector. Their most popular size formats are the Maxi and SuperMaxi bricks, which are used in low-income housing, schools, hospitals, and more.
Algoa Brick is an environmentally friendly company, committed to reducing its total energy consumption and selling energy-efficient clay brick (EECB) into the market.
ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & SELECTION
Algoa Brick will be awarding bursaries for the following qualifications: Electrical Engineering (Diploma) and Operations Management (Diploma).
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted – if you have not received any feedback within 21 days of the application deadline, you can regard your application as unsuccessful.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
- Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Studying or have been provisionally accepted to study at a recognised tertiary institute in South Africa
- Completed one or more years of study if currently at tertiary level

- Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
- Proof of tertiary provisional acceptance
- Full tertiary academic record, if currently studying at tertiary level (certified copy)
- Full quote from tertiary institution with cost of registration, tuition and books
